Forced Spring Systems

Purpose: To explore the effects of an external driving force on a simple linear oscillator, damped or undamped.

Prerequisites: The Spring Motion module and knowledge of the symbolic form of solutions of differential equations of the form

y" + ay' + by = f(t),

where f is a sine or cosine function.
