Taylor Polynomials II
David A. Smith and Lawrence C. Moore, Duke University
with the assistance of
Jer-Chin Chuang, Furman University
John Michel, Marietta College
Purposes: To continue our study
of polynomial approximations Pn(x) to a function f(x)
(begun in Taylor Polynomials I); in particular,
to study the set of numbers x for which Pn(x) approaches
f(x) as n becomes large
Prerequisites: The Taylor
Polynomials I module, plus arctangent and natural logarithm functions
