We show here two sets of revised images. The first row contains images processed in Paint Shop Pro as we did during the presentation. The second row contains images processed in Adobe PhotoShop. The steps in the two programs are not identical -- each has its own set of tools. Notice in particular the Moire pattern in Lang's shirt. This is an artifact of the reduction in size -- you won't see it in the original full-size image. Adobe has a special remove-Moire tool that does not seem to be available in PSP. Feel free to go back to the originals in part 2 and try your hand at processing.
Each set is displayed in a table without border. While we didn't get around to doing it in the presentation, tables provide the most flexibility in positioning items on an HTML page.

Here is one of the Maple animations, modified from an infinite repetition to a three-times repetition. It starts when the page is scrolled down far enough to bring the image into view. To see it again, refresh (reload) the page. Positioning here is done by inserting the image just before the word "Animated" in part 4 and then aligning the image to the right. The separation between this text and the image is a Maple artifact -- it puts in white space to the left and right of each image.
Fnally, here is the first image that shows up in a search for "manatee" on .gov sites. This time the positioning is done by centering the paragraph.
